Poem#2

Feeling cheated

Rage, frustration

A flame so violent that it could burn the object it is directed at and not even leave ashes

An anger so deeply rooted that no amount of unleashing could ever quench it

If you express it, it grows

If you hide it, it burns hotter

If you blame, you inevitably redirect it to yourself

And if you ignore it, then all pity and comfort will shudder from the thought of meeting it

You dwell on the unfairness of it all

And simply suffer helplessly
